Step 1

The existing keg must be chilled for at least 24 hrs. Wipe it down with a cloth to make sure it’s clean and dry. Remove the paper backing from the back of KegStrip to reveal the adhesive. Align the 1/2 full mark on the center seam of the keg and carefully smooth KegStrip in place from center up, and then from center down paying special attention KegStrip is in full contact with the entire side of the keg without any bridging in the strip. Smooth it in with your hand after it’s in place to make sure.

Step 2

Now get a small plastic bucket of very warm water, and remember the colder the keg the hotter the water needs to be, and wet down a small towel with the water. For safety reasons make sure you wring out the towel thoroughly so you’re not spilling water everywhere. Now simply wipe down KegStrip slowly until it turns light pink in color. Almost instantly the area of beer left in the keg will return to a deep red color, and the empty area will remain pink until the keg returns to temperature of the cooler, which takes about a minute in a very cold cooler. There inventory is done, and in a cooler like this numerous strips can be placed on kegs and you can go right down the line taking full inventory.

Step 3

Once a keg is empty simply remove it and re-install it on a new keg. You will be able to get a number of uses from of it depending on how you take care of it, but please remember to remove it when it’s empty.
